Proving that, even in an economic downturn, some companies still achieve outstanding business results, GB Precision has already had the best year ever – with two months of its financial year still left to run. MD Paul Turner explains; “This year has been absolutely hectic, with the majority of the work being in the manufacture of complex tooling for the high-precision packaging caps and closures market. In order to cope with this increased workload we have expanded the factory, nearly doubling the available floor area, as well as making significant investments in state-of-the-art equipment.” The greatest increase in GB Precision’s throughput has been for suites of tooling destined for North and South America, Europe and Asia, demonstrating once again, that West Midlands’ engineering expertise is still sought after and valued around the world. |
